Redmi ha annunciato la nuova serie Redmi K50 composta da due modelli: Redmi K50 e Redmi K50 Pro. Saranno i futuri POCO F4 e POCO F4 PRO?

Redmi K50 sarà disponibile in Cina dal 22 Marzo nei colori Black, Silver, Iridescent e Green, ai seguenti prezzi:
- 8/128GB: 2.399 yuan, circa 343 euro
- 8/256GB: 2.599 yuan, circa 371 euro
- 12/256GB: 2.799 yuan, circa 400 euro
Redmi K50 Pro sarà invece disponibile in ben 4 versioni:
- 8/128GB: 2.999 yuan, circa 428 euro
- 8/256GB: 3.299 yuan, circa 471 euro
- 12/256GB: 3.599 yuan, circa 514 euro
- 12/512GB: 3.999 yuan, circa 571 euro

Redmi K50 e K50 Pro hanno una camera di vapore realizzata in acciaio inossidabile ed un design a T che copre il 72% della piastra madre, per un migliore raffreddamento. Tra le note particolari annoveriamo la porta infrarossi, sempre dura a morire (soprattutto in Cina), ed un motore di vibrazione particolarmente adatto per i giochi.
Le differenze principali tra i due modelli sono da ricercarsi in tre elementi: il processore, che nel caso del Redmi K50 Pro è il nuovo top di gamma MediaTek, nella fotocamera principale, che sul K50 Pro arriva a 100 megapixel, e nella batteria, che ha capacità inferiore nel modello di punta, ma è più veloce a ricaricarsi.
